Privacy Policy

Honeycomb Maternity Care operates within a Private Membership Association (PMA). As such, we are not subject to public statutes or regulatory bodies such as the Board of Medicine, Board of Nursing, Board of Pharmacy, etc.. We do not practice medicine/nursing/ or other regulated professional services that offer to diagnose, treat, cure, prevent, or prescribe. Our services are strictly private, relationship-based, include a spiritual component, and are consultations that are strictly educational in nature. We believe and agree with our members that the body was designed by God to heal itself, and to grow and gestate another human made in the image of the Creator. We endeavor with our members to seek the best methods for supporting the body to carry out the functions for which it was designed - to gestate, birth, and heal.

Please note:



  • HIPAA does not apply in the private domain of a PMA.

  • We are not required to maintain a medical chart. We are not delivering medical services.

  • Notes are kept to help support and counsel our private members only. We use an encrypted drive to house any information that we gather for or about you. When sharing data with you, you will be given access to your private drive account with us.

We take reasonable steps to protect your private information:

  • We use a secure VPN. We avoid public WiFi networks. It is a good idea for your to do the same.

  • While our email system is also encrypted, we can never guarantee that hackers do not intercept data sent from our servers to your inbox (or while in your inbox).

  • We lock our doors and windows.

However, we cannot guarantee absolute protection of data. Even major systems like Baptist Health, CommonSpirit, Kronos, and the federal government have experienced breaches. In the event of a sophisticated hacking attempt or data breach, Honeycomb Care and its facilitators will not be held liable for the exposure or loss of data.

By participating as a private member, you assume this risk and agree to hold the Association and its representatives harmless from liability. You acknowledge that this is a rare but possible risk in any modern communication or record keeping system.
